What’s the logbook for?

The logbook keeps track of your slimes: the ones you’ve made, the rating you give them (one to three stars) and the daily challenges you’ve completed. The more you make, the more badges you unlock: first slime, apprentice, expert, texture master, then streaks of three and seven challenges.

How to use it

  1. Check off a recipe you made in the “My recipes” list: all 18 slime recipes on the site are there, each with a link to its recipe page.
  2. Give it one to three stars. Tapping a star also checks off the recipe; tapping the same star again removes the rating, and the recipe stays checked.
  3. Do the daily challenge on its own page: the counter at the top of the logbook adds the challenge and shows your current streak.
  4. Look at your badges: the ones you still have to earn are marked “(locked).”

Privacy

Everything is saved in your browser, on this device: no account, and the logbook isn’t sent anywhere. That’s handy for kids, but it means that if you switch phones or clear your browser data, the logbook starts over. The logbook only counts slime recipes: homemade doughs and squishies aren’t in it, and it can’t be moved from one device to another.
